The objective of this project is to improve our capability of protecting river biodiversity in Hong Kong.

It aims to :

(1) understand the links among suspended sediment, turbidity and river biodiversity in Hong Kong;
(2) comprehend the relationship between flow conditions (high flow and low flow) and river biodiversity;
(3) examine the influence of agricultural activities on suspended sediment and turbidity at Lai Chi Wo (LCW).
