The Environment and Conservation Fund (ECF) Committee is calling for applications for “Practice and Action Projects (Recycling Store Projects)” from 29 August (Friday) to 8 October 2025 (Wednesday).

Practice and Action Projects (Recycling Store Projects)

Applicant organisations should read the Guide to Application (August 2025 version) for Practice and Action Projects (Recycling Store Projects) before completing the Application Form. Applicant organisations may:

a. apply by submitting a duly completed paper-based Application Form (August 2025 version) by hand or by post to the Practice and Action Projects Vetting Subcommittee Secretariat (the Secretariat) at 5/F, Southorn Centre, 130 Hennessy Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong; or
b. apply by submitting softcopy of a completed Application Form via email to ecf@eeb.gov.hk

before 6:00 p.m. on 8 October 2025 (Wednesday) (please state “Practice and Action Projects (Recycling Store Projects)” on the envelope or as the email title).

For applications submitted by post, the postmark should be dated on or before 8 October 2025 and please ensure payment of sufficient postage as the Secretariat will not accept underpaid mails or bear the surcharge so arisen. In case Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above is hoisted, or Black Rainstorm Warning Signal/Extreme Weather Condition announced by the Government is/are in force for any duration between 12:00 noon and 6:00 p.m. on 8 October 2025, the application closing time will be extended to 6:00 p.m. on the next working day.

Late or incomplete applications or applications not submitted in accordance with the instructions and requirements as stated in the Guide to Application and Application Form will not be processed.

Briefing Session on Application Invitation (Updated)

The online briefing session covering an introduction to the contents of and notes on Practice and Action Projects (Recycling Store Projects) as well as the application details was conducted on 11 September 2025. The briefing material (here) has been uploaded onto the ECF website.

2025/26 First Round Application Invitation for “Publicity and Education Projects”

The Environment and Conservation Fund (ECF) Committee is calling for applications for “Publicity and Education Projects” from 7 May (Wednesday) to 16 June 2025 (Monday).

Publicity and Education Projects

Applicant organisations should read the Guide to Application (May 2025 version) for Publicity and Education Projects before completing the Application Form. Applicant organisations may apply before 6:00 p.m. on 16 June 2025 (Monday) through the following methods:

a. pre-register for an account at the Smart ECF (https://smart.ecf.gov.hk), and submit an application by filling in the electronic application form; or
b. download the soft copy of the application form (in fillable “PDF” format) from the ECF website, and submit the duly completed form together with any supplementary / supporting documents to the Secretariat by email to ecf@eeb.gov.hk (the email subject must specify “Publicity and Education Projects” and the Project Title proposed by the applicant organisation).

Late or incomplete applications, and applications not submitted in accordance with the format and requirements as stated in the Guide to Application will not be processed. (Note: Paper-based applications submitted in any methods would NOT be accepted in this round of application.)

The first and second online briefing sessions covering an introduction to the contents of and notes on Publicity and Education Projects as well as the application details were conducted on 24 April and 16 May 2025 respectively. The briefing materials have been uploaded onto the ECF website.
