The Hong Kong Biodiversity Museum (HKBM) presents a unique biological collection rich of over 58,000 specimens. Guided tours are offered to the general public on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday, and private tours are offered on demand to school and education group. In addition, the HKBM provides online education content multiple times weekly through the production of original posts introducing the diversity of species in its collection, as well as of species encountered in Hong Kong. This transmission of local species knowledge is also accentuated through the production of posters, videos and photography contests.
