Environment and Conservation Fund “Connect Net Zero Schools with Innovation” Project

In 2021, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government announced the Hong Kong's Climate Action Plan 2050, with the vision of "Zero-carbon Emissions‧Liveable City‧Sustainable Development" encouraging schools to participate in carbon neutrality.

This project comprehensively covers four major strategies: “Net-zero electricity generation,” “Energy saving and green buildings,” “Green transport,” and “Waste reduction.” Through workshops, guided tours, youth sharing sessions, teacher training, campus design competitions, and exhibitions, it aims to cultivate students’ low-carbon living habits, innovation, and community influence.
