Scope: To monitor the electricity generated from solar energy captured by PV Panels when used as cladding and/or sunshading to windows through the full cycle of Hong Kong seasons.

Summary of the Findings/Outcomes: Experience had been gained not only in the response of advanced PV technologies to Hong Kong conditions - typhoons as well as solar radiation - but also in the monitoring and data-logging techniques necessary for a Building Integrated PV Demonstration Project. The monitoring was ongoing with different technology panels funded from the project 9701 being added to the rig.
